Blogging has definitely a bit harder to accomplish as of late.
Brandon turned 1 month old this week. Liam continues to be an attentive big brother, who loves to hug and hold his brother, but isn't afraid to tell us to "put baby down" and play "trains with E-um". The compromise usually lands either Josh or I like this:

Recently I decided to bake cookies, something I don't do very often. One of my favorite childhood memories is the amazing amount of cookies my mom would have out on Christmas Eve. She would spend most of December baking them. I have never had the time to do that. In fact, one my favorite Christmas cookies has been near impossible for me to make. I've tried several times in the past and it has been a complete flop. Apparently all it took was a second baby and Liam's dancing to Tony Bennett Christmas music for it to be a success.

The first Christmas cookie done. I don't think I'll accomplish the amount my Mom always did for us at Christmas - but darn it, I am determined to carry on the tradition for our boys, so I am excited to get a jump start!
Here it is Thanksgiving weekend. What better way to start five days off with Dad than to watch Curious George on your soccer ball next to Dad...

This was our first Thanksgiving of just us. Literally just us. It was low key. Mellow. Lovely.

Now November is coming to an end.
I blinked and it was gone.
